We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Lynwood, CA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner license in good standing.
• One year of experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting. (Client requires recent hospital experience.)
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians, including assessment, implementation, and documentation of care.
• Ability to assume Lead RCP responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor, including managing the department during a shift. (Client-specific requirement.)
• Preferred: ACLS certification and experience with ventilators and arterial blood gas analysis.
