We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Augusta, GA where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment and care for patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current Georgia respiratory care license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) may be considered if specified by the client; RRT is preferred.
• Minimum one year clinical experience as an RRT, preferably in an acute care or hospital setting.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications required by the facility.
• Demonstrated experience with mechanical ventilation including Dräger ventilators and Phillips V60 ventilator modes.
• Experience performing arterial blood gases (ABGs) and managing CPAP/BiPAP (Arivo2) and high-flow systems (Hiflo).
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation preferred.
• Willingness to wear facility scrubs (maroon) or provided facility uniform as required.
• Preferred: experience working night shifts and participating in weekend schedules.

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: Respiratory Therapy in main hospital building.
• Shift: Nights.
• Shift hours: 1900–0700.
• Schedule notes: Night shift will include some weekends.
• Required procedures and skills on unit: mechanical ventilation management, CPAP/BiPAP support, ABGs, high-flow oxygen therapies.
