We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state Respiratory Therapy license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting preferred. Client requires experience providing intensive respiratory care, including ventilator management and transport of critically ill patients.
• BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilation, arterial blood gas sampling, oximetry and capnography monitoring, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and chest tube/pleural drainage management.
• Ability to perform 12-lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Competence performing pulmonary function studies and assisting with bronchoscopy and other respiratory-related procedures preferred.
