We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Michigan respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required prior to hire (client requirement).
• Experience operating and managing invasive and non-invasive ventilators, performing arterial blood gas sampling, oximetry and capnography monitoring, and managing tracheostomy care.
• Experience with 12-lead EKG acquisition and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Ability to assist with bronchoscopies, chest tube management, and other procedures commonly performed in acute care settings.
• Ability to perform patient transport and respond to emergency situations including CPR per BLS and ACLS guidelines.
• Preferred: Pulmonary function testing experience and familiarity with moderate complexity lab specimen handling.
