Description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.


Minimum Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
  • Registered by either the ARRT(N) or NMTCB required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
  • Experience performing general and cardiac nuclear imaging in ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient settings.
  • Experience with PET/CT preferred.
  • Experience working with EPIC EMR and Epic Radiant RIS preferred.
  • Ability to follow departmental orientation and administrative onboarding procedures.

Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift Name: Flex Shifts.
  • Shift Details: Monday–Friday 07:00–15:30, with rotating weekend on-call.
  • Standard hours per week: 40.
  • Department performs an average of 7–10 studies per day.
  • Patient types: ED, inpatient units, observation units, and outpatient.
  • Equipment: GE Infinia, GE Ventri; PACS: Philips iSite.
  • EMR/RIS: EPIC/Epic Radiant.
  • Floating: No.
  • Orientation: Administrative onboarding 1 day; 2 days to 1 week departmental orientation as needed.
  • Scrub color: Black. Parking: surface lots and parking decks available at no cost.
