We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Texas state license in good standing.
• One year experience as an RRT.
• BLS certification.
• Required certifications: ACLS.
• Experience with ventilators including Avea and Hamilton preferred.
• Experience with V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, and EPOC ABG analyzers preferred.
• Patient assessment and treatment procedure skills required.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• NRP and PALS certification preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Nights.
• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Weekend requirement: Work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
• Typical patient ratios: First rounds 1:10-15.
• EMR system: MEDITECH.
• Unit equipment in use: V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, Avea and Hamilton ventilators, EPOC ABG analyzers.
• Floating: Candidates may be expected to float within the facility's service area.
