We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• RRT required. Candidates without RRT certification will not be considered for the role.
• One year experience as an RRT; critical care experience required. ER experience preferred.
• BLS certification
• Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, Vapotherm, and oxygen therapy equipment preferred.
• Experience with Meditech or similar EMR preferred.

• Shift hours: 1900-0700
• Schedule: Rotating weekends
• Unit size: 444 beds (hospital level); respiratory care department operates on lower level, North Tower
• Typical night staffing: 3 RRTs on night shift
• Required duties: ventilator management, bronchoscopies support, blood draws, critical care respiratory support
• Dress code: pewter scrubs
