We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current North Carolina state license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) acceptable but not preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy critical care experience.
• BLS and NRP required. PALS required for NICU/Peds assignments. ACLS preferred.
• Experience with high-acuity environments preferred, including Level 1 trauma centers or academic medical centers.
• Preferred experience with equipment used in the department: Servo U, Servo Air, The Vest, Volara, Aerogen, Heated High Flow, cough assist. For pediatric roles, HFJV and HFOV experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Primary Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist—NICU/PEDS or Adult-designated patient population.
• Shift Name: Nights.
• Shift Hours: 18:30–07:00.
• Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
• Duration: 13 Week travel assignment.
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend.
• Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays.
• Orientation: 1–2 days departmental; NEO required.
• Floating: Assignments will be based on traveler experience and unit needs; no routine floating required.
