We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Florida state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum one year experience as an RRT, including NICU and adult Level 3 NICU experience (client requires NICU experience).
• BLS certification.
• Experience with PB 840 and Dräger ventilators preferred.
• Experience delivering surfactant preferred.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.

• Facility type: Health System.
• Unit: Respiratory Therapy supporting a 28-bed NICU within an acute care hospital.
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift details: Days 07:00–19:00.
• Staffing profile: Day shift team includes charge RT and multiple clinical staff; variable patient ratios based on census and coverage.
• Candidates should be prepared to work possible weekends.
