We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Tennessee state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting preferred; experience with ventilator management and mechanical ventilation required.
• BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with arterial blood gas sampling, oximetry, capnography, and 12-lead EKG performance.
• Ability to perform airway management skills including suctioning, tracheostomy care and endotracheal tube insertion using direct or video laryngoscopy.
• Experience assisting with bronchoscopy, chest tube management, and pleural drainage procedures preferred.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform routine checks on various ventilators and respiratory equipment.
