Description
We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in St. Louis, MO. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This role requires experience caring for pediatric and critical care populations within a high-acuity environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current state respiratory therapy license in good standing.
- Certified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience required.
- Required experience in NICU and/or PICU. Experience with pediatric critical care and ED or level 1 trauma environments preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred.
- Pending license accepted. First-time travelers accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a children’s acute care or teaching hospital preferred.
- Comfortable working in high-volume, teaching environments.
Assignment Details
- Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30).
- Every other weekend required.
- On-call is not required.
- Must have NICU and/or PICU experience to meet requirements.
- RTO restrictions: 2 requests.
