Description
Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to support MRI services in Kenosha, WI. The MRI Technologist will follow physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images, and follow MR safety protocols. Candidates will work with inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients and collaborate with the department supervisor and clinical team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with MR registration.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required.
- Experience with Siemens Sola 1.5T and Siemens Skyra 3T scanners is beneficial.
- Experience performing peripheral IV contrast injections and implant workup knowledge.
- Comfort with MR safety practices and basic MR principles.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a Level IV Trauma center or Primary Stroke Center environment.
- Experience with inpatient, outpatient, and ED MRI patient populations.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting with 1:1 patient ratios.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-2000 on Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- Standard hours per week: 36.
- Weekend rotation: once per month for scheduling.
- Department rotation for on-call coverage.
- Orientation: at least one shift to learn flow.
