We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a hospital in Willingboro, NJ. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Provide intensive respiratory care and patient transport as medically prescribed within scope of license. Perform physician-prescribed treatments, operate ventilatory equipment, administer oxygen and aerosol therapies, perform suctioning, oximetry and capnography monitoring, and assist with respiratory-related procedures according to policy. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient status with the care team. Perform CPR per BLS/ACLS guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current New Jersey state respiratory therapy license in good standing.
• One year experience as an RRT in a hospital or acute care setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain mechanical ventilators and provide invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
• Experience with arterial puncture, 12‑lead EKG, basic arrhythmia recognition, and pulmonary function testing.
• Ability to perform tracheostomy care, suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal), and assist with bronchoscopy and chest tube procedures.
• Competence in monitoring and documenting oximetry and capnography.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with PleurX or similar chest drainage systems preferred.
• Prior experience in moderate to high acuity hospital units preferred.

• Night shift, 3x12 schedule.
