We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Lock Haven, PA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role requires hands-on care in an acute care setting and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize respiratory outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board for Pennsylvania.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum 2 years of visible clinical experience as an RRT in acute care settings, as listed on resume.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation, and aerosolized medication administration.
• Ability to work 12-hour clinical shifts and provide patient care in a hospital environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR Instructor or ACLS certification preferred.
• Prior experience with adult critical care, step-down units, or pulmonary rehabilitation preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and respiratory documentation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: PM 12 (12-hour evening shift schedule noted).
• Schedule pattern: 36 hours per week, working three 12-hour shifts (options listed include Monday through Wednesday or Tuesday through Thursday per order notes).
• May be required to float to other facilities within the region as needed.
