We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This role supports adult and NICU patient populations and requires proficiency with mechanical ventilation and noninvasive respiratory support modalities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience.
• NICU experience required.
• Proficiency with ventilators and noninvasive support including Hamilton C1, Hamilton MR1, V60, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and NRP preferred and may be obtainable after hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
• Previous hospital respiratory department experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Scheduling requirements include 3 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.
• Required uniform: all black scrubs.
