Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate advanced imaging equipment, and capture crucial data of the heart and vascular system.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required.
• ARRT required (as stated by client).
• Vocational/Technical degree in RCIS, Radiology Tech, or accredited Electrophysiology program required.
• Ability to scrub cases, run II and perform fluoroscopy during procedures.
• Experience with structural heart, left heart, peripheral vascular cases, ECMO, and Impella cases preferred.
• Experience in a Level III Cardiac Cath Lab or similar high-volume invasive cardiology environment preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to assist with electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures, including equipment calibration, patient prep, intra-procedural monitoring and diagnostic data collection.
• Analytical ability to recognize normal and abnormal ECG and to monitor multiple data sources for rapid clinical decision making.
• Mechanical ability to operate and maintain complex electrical equipment and recording devices.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and participate in on-call rotation.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and use of PPE including lead apron and thyroid shield.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from CCI preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Schedule: Four 10-hour days. No block scheduling.
• Call: One night per week, 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
• Weekend call: Approximately every 4th weekend (starts Friday at 5:00 p.m. and ends Monday at 7:30 a.m.).
• Caseload: Approximately 10+ cases per day across 3 Cath Lab rooms.
• Local candidates accepted. Candidate may be expected to support multiple lab procedures and settings as needed.

You will help maintain laboratory safety, manage supplies, support accurate procedural billing, and participate in interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
