Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Stockton, CA. You will perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate and assure quality of imaging and x-ray equipment, and provide patient monitoring throughout procedures. This role requires competency with a variety of cath lab and IR modalities and working with critically ill patients.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of IR Technologist experience with references.
• Experience with peripheral and coronary circulation procedures, including coronary interventions, balloon pumps, and Impella devices.
• Experience in high-volume cath lab/IR settings (typical caseload 15–20 cases per day) or similar acute care hospital environments.
• Experience with Merge Hemo or comparable cath lab imaging systems preferred.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• State radiologic technologist license as required by California.
• Completion of required online modules prior to arrival. Candidates will be delayed if modules are not complete.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens or Phillips cath lab equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced cath/IR tools such as rotablator, IVUS, FFR, angiojet, laser, and IABP is preferred.
• Previous experience in STEMI-receiving centers or with critically ill cardiac patients preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 3x12-hour shifts.
• Orientation: 1–2 days of unit-specific orientation plus 12 hours of facility orientation.
• Call requirement: 30-minute response time when on-call.
• Scrubs provided by facility.
• Charge/circulating nurse coverage present during day and after-hours.
• Floating: No floating required.
• Number of IR suites/labs: 4 rooms.
• Common equipment and cases: laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, angiojet; STEMI cases frequently received.
• Cardiologist, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy available 24/7.
