We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Winston-Salem, NC where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This role requires demonstrated competency in advanced respiratory therapies and familiarity with acute care settings. Applicants must be prepared to work night shifts and participate in hospital workflows that support critical and stepdown care.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current North Carolina state respiratory license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Unit will not accept CRT.
• Minimum 2 years of experience. Required work setting experience: Emergency Room, Adult ICU, Med/Surg, and ICU/Stepdown.
• Clinical respiratory skills required: airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, CPAP, vest therapy, meta-neb, PAP therapy, and heated high-flow systems.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience is required.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NC state license, and RRT credentials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bronchoscopy experience.
• NRP certification preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 18:45 - 07:15.
• Shift Pattern: 3x12-hour nights schedule; 36 or 48 hours may be offered.
• Patient Ratios: 35–45 patients per day.
• Travelers accepted, including first-time travelers. Locals accepted.
• Return-to-Office (RTO) after booking is not allowed and may result in cancelation if worked onsite.
