Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Wichita, KS. The MRI Technologist will prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, and follow physician scanning instructions and unit protocols. The role requires professional collaboration with radiology staff and adherence to safety and imaging standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (MR preferred).
- MRI technologist state licensure as required by Kansas.
- Minimum 6 months of current MRI technologist experience. (Client requires at least 6 months current MRI Tech experience.)
- BLS certification.
- Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred.
- Experience in Level 1 trauma or critical care environments preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- GE scanner experience, including GE Artist systems.
- EMR experience with Meditech/CPN preferred.
- Previous work in a high-volume hospital MRI department.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 07:00 - 19:00.
- Shift Days: Days.
- Unit operates three MRI units with an average volume of approximately 32 exams per day.
- Department includes new GE Artist machines and collaborative staff teams.
