Description
We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Silverdale, WA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current Washington state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
- One year experience as an RRT or CRT. (Client accepts either RRT or CRT).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow therapy, and drawing ABGs.
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience required, including competency with bubble CPAP for infants 32 weeks and up.
- Experience working inpatient respiratory services and familiarity with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis equipment preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hospital setting covering inpatient units and occasional ED patients.
- Prior experience providing standby support for conscious sedation and cardioversion.
- Experience assisting with intubations.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: nights, 3x12s.
- Typical scheduled hours: 1900–07:30.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.
- Orientation: 12 hours department-specific orientation.
- Weekend requirement: yes.
- Holiday requirement: one holiday.
- Lead therapist on staff every shift; typically 4+ RTs on night shift.
- Washington state auto-deduction: Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax; you may re-add that back in.
