Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join a hospital in Rockford, IL as a Cath Lab Technologist and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in a high-volume interventional environment. You will assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures, perform scrub and monitoring roles, and operate advanced imaging equipment for both cardiology and interventional radiology cases.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required.
• Mandatory: 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting.
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures and ability to perform scrub and monitoring roles for IR and cardiology cases.
• EP (electrophysiology) experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• State-specific licensure where applicable.
• Ability to provide on-call coverage, including rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call.

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred).
• Experience with a cath lab that performs a mix of radiology and cardiology procedures.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700 - 1700.
• Work pattern: 4x10hr shifts (M-F schedule indicated in order notes).
• Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call responsibilities.
• Must be able to support both interventional radiology and cardiology case types.
