Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, ensure proper patient preparation and positioning, and follow radiation safety protocols. Strong communication with physicians, nurses, and radiology staff is required to support accurate diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 2 years experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
- Experience with routine nuclear medicine imaging and radionuclide administration.
- Experience working in a hospital nuclear medicine department.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT (N).
- Experience with SPECT/CT and PET imaging equipment.
- Familiarity with radiopharmacy procedures and dose preparation.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:00-16:00.
- Workweek: 5x8.
- Expected hours: 40 per week.
