Join a hospital team in Jersey City, NJ as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while experiencing a new location. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial data on the heart and blood vessels.

Minimum Qualifications

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred. Experience must include hospital-based Cath Lab procedures.
• Experience with invasive cardiac procedures including diagnostic and interventional left heart cath (LHC), right heart cath (RHC), Impella and IABP insertion, TAVR, structural procedures (Mitral Clip, PFO), AICD/PPM placement, EPS/ablation, LAAC.
• Experience with advanced neuro endovascular procedures preferred, including cerebral and carotid angiography, angioplasty/stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy.
• Experience charting in Epic preferred.
• No first-time travelers accepted. Must meet facility credentialing and state licensure requirements.
• Ability to work call and every third weekend as required by unit staffing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of Cath Lab hospital experience preferred.
• Prior experience with pericardiocentesis and CardioMEMS procedures preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift schedule: 4x10-hour shift, 08:00 - 18:30.
• Holiday staffing: will work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements.
• 40 hours per week.
• Call requirement and every third weekend required.
