We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role will support high-acuity pediatric and adult populations and may require flexibility to work in multiple units.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the Illinois licensing board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care setting.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working with neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients preferred.
• Ability to float to other units including Adult ICU, Emergency Department, Pediatric ED, Adult Telemetry/Medical-Surgical, and General Pediatrics required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Level III NICU and PICU environments preferred.
• Experience with busy labor and delivery units preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900–0730.
• May float to other units within the facility.
