Description
Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist in Wichita, KS. You will perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate and assure quality of imaging equipment, and monitor patients during procedures. This position supports both inpatient and outpatient procedures and involves participation in call rotations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of current IR Technologist experience (client requirement).
- ARRT (R) certification.
- BLS certification.
- Active Kansas state licensure.
- Experience with interventional procedures such as embolization, Y-90, peripheral interventions, drain placements, biopsies, spinal procedures, stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases preferred.
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, trauma-capable environment and adapt to schedule changes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior stroke or thrombectomy experience preferred.
- Experience working in large trauma centers preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 07:00 to 17:30.
- Call requirement: one weekend per month and one night per week on call.
- Unit has 3 procedure rooms (2 Philips biplanes, 1 GE single) and utilizes MAC lab documentation.
- Typical volume: approximately 10–12 procedures per day.

Impacting Patient Care
As a traveling IR Technologist, you will support advanced interventional services that impact patient outcomes in a high-volume hospital setting. Your role will assist multidisciplinary teams in providing timely, interventional care for trauma, neurovascular, oncology, and vascular patients.
