We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Florida state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• One year experience as an RRT in a hospital or acute care setting.
• BLS certification.
• Critical care skills including ventilator management and arterial blood gas (ABG) collection from arterial lines and sticks.
• Experience with Servo and Puritan-Bennett 840 ventilators preferred.
• Ability to assist in intubations, codes, and rapid responses.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech EMR.
• Prior work in a 24/7 hospital respiratory therapy department or similar inpatient acute care environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900 - 0700.
• Night shift staffing: typically four therapists on night shift.
• Float to psych/rehab campus may be required as part of departmental coverage.
• Unit equipment includes Servo and 840 ventilators.
