Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in the state of employment.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
• Experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and radiation detection devices.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PET and SPECT imaging modalities.
• Certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in nuclear medicine preferred.
• Prior experience in a Joint Commission–accredited facility preferred.

• Shift hours: 0800-1600.
• Shift days: Days.
• Facility requires work in a hospital environment; may include collaboration across multiple service lines.

The facility is located in Clyde, NC, approximately 20 miles from Asheville and adjacent to parts of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The area offers access to outdoor recreation at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and scenic drives along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Downtown Asheville is about a 30–40 minute drive and provides cultural attractions such as the River Arts District and numerous farm-to-table restaurants. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN are about 1.25 hours away, and Knoxville, TN is about 1.5 hours away, providing additional regional entertainment and travel options.
