Description
We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Charlotte, NC where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This role focuses on neonatal and pediatric populations and requires competency in airway management and ventilatory support modalities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current NC Respiratory Therapist license in hand and in good standing.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical respiratory experience.
- Required clinical experience with neonates and pediatrics.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS.
- Skills: airway management, medication administration, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, CPAP, bronchoscopy assistance.
- Traveler experience: unit will accept first-time travelers. Locals accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in NICU, PICU, Pediatric ED, and pediatric transport preferred.
- Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 18:45 - 07:15.
- Schedule: 3x12-hour nights.
