We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Rome, GA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role supports care across emergency, medical-surgical, stepdown, and intensive care settings. Expect a department culture that emphasizes autonomy and teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current Georgia state respiratory therapy license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS certification required.
• 2–3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; department indicates minimum 2–3 years preferred. First-time travelers may be considered.
• Experience with mechanical ventilator management and therapist-driven protocols.
• Experience working in acute care environments including ED, ICU, and medical-surgical units.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records and department equipment such as Getinge Servo U/Servo Air and ABL90 (POCT).

Preferred Qualifications

• Intubation experience preferred.
• Prior experience in trauma or level II trauma center environments preferred.

Assignment Details

• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• 3x12 schedule.
• Department orientation: 2 days departmental; facility orientation includes NEO.
• Scrub color: Royal Blue.
