Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a hospital team in Pontiac, MI. The MRI Technologist will prepare and position patients, follow physician scanning instructions, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic-quality images. Candidates must demonstrate safe patient care, strong communication, and adherence to imaging protocols and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI.
- State MRI licensure as required by Michigan.
- MRI advanced level certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience operating clinical MRI scanners and performing contrast-enhanced studies.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
- Ability to follow imaging protocols, apply MRI safety procedures, and work with diverse patient populations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-field MRI scanners and advanced MRI sequences.
- Experience with electronic medical records and PACS workflow.
- Previous night shift experience or experience with evening/weekend rotations preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 20:30–07:00.
- Schedule includes an every-other-weekend rotation.
- Position requires working nights in a hospital setting.
- May be required to float to other regional facilities as needed.
