Join our team as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Marble Falls, TX. In this role you will perform diagnostic and routine mammographic examinations and bone densitometry to assist in the detection and diagnosis of breast disease. You will provide patient-centered care, maintain imaging quality, and ensure safe operation of mammography and DXA equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Mammography (M) certification.
• Proficiency with Hologic Selenia Dimensions 3D Mammography System and Hologic Horizon DXA System preferred.
• Experience in diagnostic and routine breast imaging. Routine breast imaging scheduled approximately every 30 minutes; diagnostic imaging scheduled approximately every 40 minutes.
• Experience performing DXA (bone densitometry) scans. DXA scans scheduled approximately every 20 minutes.
• Minimum 2 years of mammography technologist experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to perform equipment preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and maintain supplies and inventory.
• Competence documenting patient imaging services and preparing studies for radiologist interpretation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with schedulers and in small team settings (works with 1 scheduler and 1 other technologist).
• Experience in both routine and diagnostic breast imaging workflows.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–19:30.

Impacting Patient Care

As a mammography technologist on assignment, you will support high-quality diagnostic services by producing accurate mammographic and DXA studies. You will apply radiation protection techniques, follow established imaging standards, and contribute to efficient patient throughput and radiologist interpretation.
