We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Austin, TX where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapy license in good standing.
• One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS certification.
• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience required.
• Certifications required by the client: ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working night shifts in a hospital NICU setting.
• Experience with neonatal ventilators and advanced neonatal respiratory procedures.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Rotating weekends required.
• No on-call responsibilities.
