We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Arlington, TX where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This role supports adult critical care patient populations and requires competency with ventilator management and respiratory procedures common to an acute care setting. Candidates must be able to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current Texas state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience, with adult critical care experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with mechanical ventilators and critical care respiratory procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems; experience with Meditech preferred.
• Willingness to float to other hospital units or facilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications or specialty training in critical care respiratory therapy.
• Experience in a large acute care hospital setting.
• Previous experience working flexible schedules including nights and weekend rotations.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 1900-0700.
• Floating policy: As needed.
• Call requirements: Discuss during the interview.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 or 40 (to be confirmed during interview).
