Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive pharmaceuticals, operating radiation detection and imaging equipment, performing patient imaging procedures, and ensuring radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- NMTCB certification or ARRT(N) certification required.
- State license or certification to practice nuclear medicine in Connecticut, or ability to obtain prior to start.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
- Experience with routine nuclear medicine imaging procedures and operation of gamma cameras and SPECT equipment.
- Ability to participate in a call rotation and periodic weekend coverage as required by the client (see Assignment Details).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience with radiopharmaceutical preparation and QC procedures.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 06:00–14:30 (alternative shift 07:00–15:30 noted by client).
- Call rotation: one weekday on-call shift (15:30–19:00).
- Weekend rotation: one weekend every four weeks (07:00–19:00).
