Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Concord, NC. The MRI Technologist will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. The role requires adherence to departmental protocols for patient identification, contrast administration, image quality evaluation, and infection control. The technologist will serve patients from the Emergency Department, inpatient units, observation, and outpatient settings, including pediatric and anesthesia-assisted imaging as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) or ARMRI).
• Required MRI credentialing as specified by employer. NC state licensure is not required.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience. Department will accept first-time travelers.
• Experience with MRI contrast administration and IV access according to protocols.
• Experience working with ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations, including pediatric and anesthesia-assisted imaging.
• Experience with Epic EMR and Epic Radiant (RIS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital setting, including trauma level III and teaching hospital environments.
• Experience performing cardiac and neuro imaging.
• Prior experience caring for patients with medical devices.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0600-1830 Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
• Average patients per day: 30–40.
• Will perform cases with anesthesia as needed.
• Traveler permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the home unit radius rule.
