We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Atlanta, GA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in respiratory care/diagnostic services or specialized units such as ICU or step-down.
• Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced respiratory procedures.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern includes weekend responsibilities with extended hours per shift (schedule example provided: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with every other (EO) weekend).
• May be scheduled as 12-hour day shifts as part of the rotation.
• Candidate must be able to work the specified schedule and weekend rotations.
