We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification

• Ability to operate invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment, oxygen and aerosol devices, and nebulizer devices
• Experience with chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, and capnography monitoring
• Ability to perform 12-Lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition
• Experience with pulmonary function studies including NIF and VC
• Ability to assist with bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and chest tube placement procedures
• Experience with tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal of tracheostomy tubes
• Ability to perform arterial puncture and monitor, record, and report test results
• ACLS certification
• Experience with insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes via free hand technique and/or video laryngoscope system
• Experience with mechanical ventilation set-up, self-testing, operation, maintenance, and monitoring
