Description
We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Farmington, NM where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current New Mexico state respiratory license in good standing.
- One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- BLS certification.
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Familiarity with ventilator management and arterial blood gas analysis preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Experience in a level III trauma center or high-acuity unit preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 1900-0700.
- May require floating to other facilities within the region as needed.
