Minimum Qualifications
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• ARRT (AART) certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid state Radiation Therapy licensure or Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) registration, if required.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery; experience with Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines preferred.
• Experience using Mosaiq record and verify and EPIC charting system.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience performing CT scans as part of radiation therapy workflow.
• Prior outpatient radiation oncology clinic experience.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-1700.
- Work days: Monday through Friday.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Orientation: approximately 12 hours with on-unit shadowing; experienced therapists typically up to 3–5 days to reach full productivity.
- Therapists will not work alone on treatment machines; two therapists staff each machine.
- No routine weekend requirement; rare weekend work only for machine-related treatment needs.
- Dedicated to Radiation Oncology department only; no floating to other departments.

Impacting Patient Care
As a Radiation Therapist you will operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, accurately position patients and ensure immobilization, verify treatment plans and dosages with the oncology team, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and document treatments to maintain accurate records. Treatments are delivered on Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity machines with Mosaiq record and verify.
