We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Bryson City, NC where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current NC state license in good standing with the State License Board or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial blood gas analysis, and oxygen therapy.
• Ability to work night shift and perform duties independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience in critical access or small rural hospital settings preferred.
• Experience with pulmonary function testing and non-invasive ventilation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
