Description
Join us as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Birmingham, AL at a hospital. In this role, you will perform specialized breast imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. This position requires adherence to imaging protocols, patient safety standards, and collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current ARRT Mammography (M) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience, including clinical experience on digital mammography systems.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience using GE Pristina/Pristine mammography equipment preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a hospital imaging department.
- Comfortable performing diagnostic and screening mammography, spot magnification, and patient positioning for stereotactic or tomosynthesis procedures.
Assignment Details
- M – F, 8:00a - 4:30p.
- No weekends, no holidays, no call.
