Description
Are you ready to take your expertise in cardiac ultrasound to a facility in Bozeman, MT. Perform daily clinical adult cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures (echocardiography), assess cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology, and prepare preliminary reports for cardiologist interpretation. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology from a CAAHEP program or Health Science program.
- Current Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Six months of clinical training in cardiac ultrasound or comparable experience.
- Ability to perform routine two-dimensional echo, stress echo, pharmacologic stress echo, transesophageal echo, and emergent echo procedures.
- Ability to utilize ultrasound enhancing agents and agitated saline when requested.
- Ability to operate and maintain echocardiography equipment and complete required documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
- Willingness to work variable shifts, weekends, and participate in emergent call coverage as scheduled.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of post‑graduation experience in cardiac ultrasound.
- American Heart Association ACLS certification.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
- Work schedule: Monday–Friday.
- Fridays are required.
- May be required to work weekends and provide emergent on‑call coverage as scheduled.
- Must provide service at multiple locations as needed; floating may be required.

Impacting the Quality of Care for Patients
Perform comprehensive echocardiography studies including preliminary reporting to assist cardiologists in diagnosis and treatment planning. Participate in quality improvement projects, lab meetings, and the reaccreditation process with the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission of Echocardiography (IAC‑Echo). Maintain required education and documentation to support high‑quality, timely patient care.
