Minimum Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T) or ARRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T). Required.

• Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification (TRT) or equivalent. Required.

• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required by California. Required.

• Recent experience with EPIC within the last 12 months. Required.

• Recent Cerner experience. Required.

• Experience with TrueBeam. Required.

• Experience documenting charting system used in each work history entry. Required.

• Ability to work a 40-hour week; no return-to-office (RTO) allowed for this assignment. Required.

• CPR or BLS certification. Preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in radiological technology or equivalent. Preferred.

• Master’s degree. Preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a radiation therapist. Preferred.

• Experience in a hospital or health system environment. Preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Days, 5x8 schedule.
• EPIC conversion project assignment requiring EPIC and Cerner experience.
• Must have TrueBeam experience.
• No RTO permitted for this assignment.

Impacting Patient Care

Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment. Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment. Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy. Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records in the required electronic charting systems.
