Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required.

• BLS (AHA) required.

• Minimum 1 year of current Radiation Therapy experience required.

• Experience with Varian TrueBeam preferred; willingness to train is acceptable.

• Driver's license required.

• Provide work history/resume, skills checklist completed within one year, license verification, copies of required certifications, and one supervisory reference at time of submission.

• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience preferred.

• Two years' experience as a radiation therapist preferred when available in candidate history.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5 x 7.2 (36 hours per week) - Monday - Friday.
• Orientation schedule: Every Monday.
• EMR: EPIC.
• Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Impacting Patient Care

The traveler will operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization, verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team, monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy, and document treatments to maintain accurate patient records. The role involves collaboration with oncology professionals and adherence to institutional policies and safety procedures.
