We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in St. Louis, MO where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role requires flexibility to work in intensive care units and general medical-surgical floors. Candidates may be asked to precept respiratory therapy students as part of a teaching hospital environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• BLS / BCLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an RRT.
• Ability and willingness to work holidays and rotate every third weekend as required.
• Willingness to work in ICUs and on floors; float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Pending Missouri license accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active AARC membership preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field, or actively working toward a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a teaching hospital setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 18:45 - 07:15.
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week.
• Weekend requirement: Every third weekend rotation.
• Clinicians will be expected to work in both ICUs and floors.
• Locals outside 75-mile radius only; local clinicians not accepted within that radius.
