Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
- BLS certification
- 2 years' experience as a nuclear med tech
- NMTCB certification
- Experience with GE equipment
- Experience starting IVs
- Experience with SPECT CT
Assignment Details
- Start time varies between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM for nuclear medicine; PET start time is 6:30 AM
- 40 hours per week
- Weekday call: 1 call shift per week, end of shift until 6:00 AM the following morning
- Weekend call rotation: 1 weekend every 4th weekend, end of shift Friday until Monday at 6:00 AM
- Holiday expectation: call only, potential for 1 holiday call during the assignment
- May rotate to another outpatient setting for PET scans during the second half of the assignment
