Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
- BLS certification
- 2 years' experience as a nuclear med tech
- ARRT or NMTCB certification
- Experience in a high-paced nuclear medicine department
- Ability to start IVs
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
- Weekend call required
- Holiday call required
- Call or standby required
- Charting system: EPIC
- Department equipment includes GE and Siemens
- Common studies include cardiac, HIDA, gastric emptying, parathyroid, thyroid, thyroid therapy, and DAT
- Traveler must provide rad badge
- Solid-color scrubs required. No prints or graphics. Scrubs are not provided
