Description
We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
- Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
- One year experience as an RRT
- BLS certification
- Oregon RRT license required.
- ACLS (AHA) required.
- NRP certification required.
- PALS required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC certificate or CRT accepted as long as requirements are met.
- Experience with bubble CPAP, ABG, and vent/BiPAP/CPAP management required.
- Ability to assist with intubation required.
- Ability to work independently required.
Assignment Details
- Weekend requirement is variable to cover shift holes, FMLA, and PTO.
- Holiday requirement applies.
- Majority of the time, you will work alone.
- Coverage includes the entire hospital, with main department needs in FBC, ER, MS, and CCU.
- No call or standby requirement.
- Charting system is MEDITECH.
