Hybrid Schedule- Full-time position(40 hours/week). The position requires providing care to a middle school female student 4 hours/ week in the student's home and in a public school classroom settings. The position is 40 hours/week at the start of the assignment. The hours of care provided to the student will gradually increase over time. When the nurse is not caring for the student in the home, the nurse will be assigned to another school to provide support. Over time, the position will become full-time with the student.

Position Details:

• RN- required; must be female. Parent requested due to the student's personal hygiene care.

•The position is 40 hours/week at the start of the assignment. The hours of care provided to the student will gradually increase over time. When the nurse is not caring for the student in the home, the nurse will be assigned to another school to provide support. Over time, the position will become full-time with the student.

 • Student resides in Ashburn.

• Seizure monitoring, seizure response, and the administration of seizure rescue medication are required.

• Inpatient peds psych nursing, managing autism behaviors and PTSD triggers, preferred, not required.

• When not providing home-based nursing care, the RN will float out to area schools to add support as a 1:1 nurse sub or assist in the health office.

• Riding the bus will eventually be a requirement once private school placement is secured.

• Client will review resumes and conduct interviews of potential candidates. Client will make the final selection for the position.

• If at any time the 1:1 nurse is not available, Client will be responsible for securing a substitute, not the hiring agency.

• Student-specific training will be conducted by Client Student Health Services.

• Position to start as soon as filled.
