Pay Package

• Weekly Gross: $1,840

• Hourly Rate: $46/hour

Position Overview

ProTouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care (RN) for a local assignment with Specialty Care Clinics in Chicago, IL.

The RN will provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory/clinic setting, support care coordination, communicate with patients and providers, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience - REQUIRED

• BLS certification - REQUIRED

• Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ambulatory environment

• English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred

• Pending licenses are NOT accepted.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5×8s

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

• Call: None

• Weekend Requirement: None

• Weekend RTO: No RTO on weekends

• Locals: Local candidates only

• Floating: Mandatory

Mandatory Floating Requirement

Cook County is a mandatory float facility. All clinicians are required to float within their scope of practice to other facilities/areas based on facility needs and discretion.

Candidates must be comfortable with the mandatory floating requirement before applying.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ambulatory patients.

• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions.

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and follow-up needs.

• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.

• Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality standards

• Float within scope of practice as required by facility needs
